I was able to get out and see a local art event last night and ran into a few friends I’ve made since opening the gallery. I never made many good friends when I was a regular working stiff, I wasn’t super excited about sports and other typical subjects. But when I got back to making art and working with other artists, I felt a freedom and companionship you just can’t get from a regular 9 to 5 job.
