I may be in a whole other universe, but to me the spice of life is… freedom. But freedom seems to be a fragile thing lately. Do we surrender our free will for the greater good, or do we hold on to our one and only life here on Earth and do it “Our Way”.

I moved around a lot as a child, much like Jim Morrison did with his family. I used to just stare out the window of our station wagon for hours looking at all the beautiful scenery, when we took long trips across the country. I seem to share a parallel path with Jim in a way, but I lost my desire for the spotlight a long time ago, and that might have saved me. I still have ambitions though, and thankfully some of my social anxiety has lessened with age and I’ve survived the problems of alcohol. And I’m not a person who’s stuck in the past, so I feel best when I’m hopeful about the future, and that involves me getting out there more and engaging with interesting people, and trying to grow my business.

Well for now I’m going to try and do it “My Way”, which thankfully isn’t that wild anymore. LOL
