Got to thinking about a line from Captain America while I was doing my morning exercises, “I’m with you until the end of the line.” Because you can’t always expect immediate results when you’re helping someone through recovery or whatever they may be dealing with, you have to be in for the long haul. Steve Rogers wasn’t chosen because he was the biggest or the best, but he did have the biggest heart, and that has always been his super power.

Bucky kind of represents that personality that doesn’t want to be saddled with compassion after his transformation into the Winter Soldier. But Steve knew it would be a long road to deprogram him into the friend he used to know.

I know Marvel movies are a lot of popcorn fluff but if you sift out the important issues they have a lot of good things to say.
